2017 Wild & Scenic Film Festival, Spokane Riverkeeper Benefit

This Festival is the 3rd annual screening of environmental films that feature nature’s beauty, cutting edge environmental issues, humor and more. The films are a mix of short films between 4 and 15 minutes and a longer 25 minute film called The Elwha Undammed-What’s a River For. This film features the story of the largest river restoration project in US history – the un-damming of the Elwha River. Other films call out the beauty of the continental divide, while still others are take on hard environmental issues. Come visit tables and talk to environmentally minded folks and enjoy a raffle for great prizes.

When: Thursday, May 4th doors open at 6:00 pm for beer and conversation. Films start at 7:00 and run until 9:00 pm

Cost: $10 on line (Eventbrite) and $15 dollars at the door. All proceeds go to support the Spokane Riverkeeper Program

The Festival is supported by Mountain Gear, Patagonia, River City Brewing, Silver Bow Fly Shop, Out There Monthly and numerous non-profit organizations.
