$50.00
Spokane River 2019 flyer

Join us on Thursday, October 24th, 2019, at the Mukogawa Events Center for Spokane Riverkeeper’s third annual fundraiser SPOKEN RIVER. Once again, you will be treated to authors giving readings of their works focused on the Spokane River.

Come hear The Salish School of Spokane with a featured student reader reading an original piece.  Also:

– Ben Goldfarb author of Eager: The Surprising, Secret Life of Beavers and Why They Matter

– Jack Nisbet: Local author of many volumes including Sources of the River, and David Douglas: A Naturalist at Work

– Ellen Welcker: Poet and author of many books of poetry including Ram Hands

Additionally, The Coeur d’Alene Tribe and Salishan Sturgeon Nose Canoes will have several traditional canoes on hand.  We will also award our annual River Hero Award to a worthy recipient!

You’ll also learn about the work of the Spokane Riverkeeper, and hear about how you can get involved to support the protection of your river.

Your individual ticket is $50 and includes appetizers and 2 drink tickets for beer or wine.

Or… take your table-seating-destiny into your own hands: Your table purchase is $350 and includes 8 seats, appetizers, and 20 drink tickets for beer or wine.

Interested in supporting this program but out of town for the event? Consider purchasing a ticket and donating it back to us. We can help find someone to attend!
