Gold Hill Project Scoping Comment Deadline May 30

The Forest Service just issued a scoping letter for a proposed timber sale called the Gold Hill Project. The proposal is 2100 acres in size and is located in the northwest corner of the Palouse Ranger District on the Clearwater National Forest. It includes 865 acres of commercial logging. The agency is seeking public feedback about “why the project should or should not proceed.” The scoping deadline is Thursday May 30.
