Hangman Creek is one of the Spokane River’s largest tributaries, draining more than 400,000 acres of cropland, pasture and forest across four Washington and Idaho counties. It must be protected from pollution or order to sustain a healthy redband rainbow trout population in the Spokane River, Hangman (Latah) Creek, and its tributaries such as California Creek and other.
