Fly Fish the Spokane

Join Marc Fryt (Fly Fish Spokane and SFTU Board Member) and learn how to fly fish on the Spokane River. These events are FREE.

• The intent of these events are to help people to learn how to specifically fly fish on the Spokane. All experience levels welcome, and experienced anglers are encouraged to join to help teach/instruct.
• Various fly fishing techniques will be covered, how to wade the river or fish it from the bank, selecting flies, and reading the water.
• Some fly fishing setups will be available for participants to borrow.  It is highly recommended that if you have your own gear, bring it and use it so others who truly need to borrow equipment have the ability to do so.  If you need to borrow equipment, email Marc at [email protected] We’ll be fishing from the bank and/or wading, so waders and felt bottom wading boots are highly encouraged.
• Participants can also receive 25% off a guided trip down the Spokane River with Marc (details available directly from Marc).
