Summer Suds Fly Fishing and Camping Weekend – Idaho
June 11 - June 15

Our 2025 Summer Suds is planned! Once again SWOTF is teaming up with Spokane Falls TU Chapter for the 2025 Summer Suds Fishing Weekend.
A few changes this year due to being unable to reserve the Devils Elbow(DE) group site. We will be at Kit Price Campground, which is just before DE. There are 3 loops of sites, some are FCFS but most are reservation only.
There will be NO group site camping! Everyone is responsible for reserving their own space. SWOTF plans to reserve one of the larger sites and have that as a general meet up space. Please connect with others to collaborate for reservations and carpooling.
We will still have Fishing Mentors and Fishing Buddies! Eventbrite will be updated soon. Depending on the year the water can be high or just perfect. You’ll still be able to find water to walk and wade as well as bring a personal boat to float the river. More suggestions for flies and equipment will come.
Hosts: Amy Carlson, Elizabeth Simpson, Heather Hodson, Lindy Orozco of SWOTF
Dogs are allowed but MUST be kept on leash at all times. This is a campground rule. Please be considerate of other campers and anglers with pets.
Weekend Itinerary:
You are on your own for all meals. Everyone goes out and fishes during the days and we meet up in the evenings. This is not guided, you are on your own for fishing. There will be Fishing Mentors and Fishing Buddies to sign up for via Eventbrite. This is a great opportunity to connect with new people in the group! There will be casual education moments and the annual Angler Olympics on Saturday night!
