Chapter Training Opportunity (if time)
The Washington Council coordinates 3 in-person meetings a year, in addition to monthly conference calls. Ideally the chapter president participates but this is also an opportunity for Vice Presidents and up-and-coming leaders to attend. Extending a personal invite to a new leader or committee chair is a great way to introduce them to new people but also highlight their successes and offer an opportunity to grow in their role. Having a chapter representative attend and report back to the board and/or applicable committees is a great way to spread the TU love!
Note: You may be receiving this meeting request as an optional attendee (VP, Treasurer, Secretary) but know that the meetings are open and you are definitely welcome!
